玻璃鋼桿應用于停車桿的優(yōu)勢
　 適用范圍：小區(qū)道閘、收費站道閘、停車場道閘、危險或限制路段道閘等。
質量輕：玻璃鋼桿的密度為1.9g/cm³,約為鋼質停車桿的三分之一（鋼抽油桿的密度為7.85 g/cm³），可以大大降低道閘閘機懸點載荷，因此可以運用功率小的電動機、較小的變速箱、較小的平衡塊、較輕便的結構形式，從而達到節(jié)約電能、提高綜合效率的目的。
　　彈性好：玻璃鋼桿的彈性模量為（4.0-6.0）×10⁴MPa,僅為鋼質道閘桿的四分之一左右（鋼質道閘桿的彈性模量為2.1×10⁵MPa），這樣可以延長閘機的使用壽命，還可以增加閘機的有效沖程，增加有效開合次數(shù)。
　　抗腐蝕能力強：玻璃鋼桿具有良好的抗腐蝕性、耐疲勞特性；主要由無堿、無捻玻璃纖維與熱固性樹脂預熱固化而成，是電的非導體，在鹽水及含有二氧化碳、硫化氫等環(huán)境下實驗，無腐蝕現(xiàn)象。這樣可以減少因腐蝕造成閘機桿斷裂而停止作業(yè)的情況，達到減少作業(yè)成本和增產(chǎn)創(chuàng)效的目的。
強度高：玻璃鋼桿的抗拉強度為810MPa，達到了D級鋼桿的抗拉強度，短期最大應力可達300MPa，最大載荷可達15t。
環(huán)保：傳統(tǒng)的停車桿多數(shù)采用鋁質桿，而鋁質桿在生產(chǎn)制造中需要做氧化等處理，會對環(huán)境造成惡劣影響。使用玻璃鋼桿替代鋁質桿，可充分降低制造過程中對環(huán)境的影響。
